Getting started
You'll be capturing in under a minute. Here's the whole path from sign-in to your first reminder.
1. Sign in
Open app.emberel.com. Choose Continue with Google to sign in with your Google account, or unlock a private instance with a passcode. Sessions last 30 days, so you sign in rarely.
2. Set up your profile
The welcome flow asks for your name, time zone, and — if you want text capture — your phone number. Your time zone matters: it's how Emberel reads "tomorrow at 9" correctly.
3. Make your first capture
At the top of the dashboard is the OmniBar. Type a thought and press Enter. Try something with a time in it:
Call the venue about the deposit Friday at 2pm
Emberel reads that as a reminder, sets the time, and drops it onto your page. No forms, no menus.
4. Learn the OmniBar shortcuts
- Type normally to capture.

/to search everything you've captured. - Start with
?to ask — Emberel answers grounded in your own items. - Hit Expand to open a full note editor for longer writing.
5. Connect Google Calendar (optional)
In Settings, choose Connect Google to sync reminders and tasks two ways with Google Calendar and Google Tasks. See Integrations for details.
